T O P I C R E V I E Wfrankie2912I met someone who is almost void of water. The only planets that are water for him are his Saturn and Pluto, both in Scorpio. When I pull up the simple chart delineation, it shows his dominant sign as SCORPIO, dominant element is WATER. Dominant planet is Pluto.I have never seen this before, where someone who seems to have no influence from a particular sign or element, actually is strongly influenced by it!Do you put much weight into the dominant planet/sign/element thing? Should I interpret this person's chart with it in mind that he is supposedly heavily influenced by water even though he's an Aquarius sun/Cap moon/Libra asc?Aries23DegreesIt could be the associated house placements that the planet is affiliated with.I have dominant Jupiter/Fire/Sag because of the 9th house stellium.9thScorpioSame thing as my father. Only two water placements. Mars and Neptune in Scorpio in 8th. Scorpio is also his dominant. And since Pluto is modern ruler of Scorpio, it expresses itself like it should. I know lots of people who are not Plutonian at all, yet if we look at Pullen's chart analysis, they end up with Pluto as dominant planet/Scorpio as dominant sign because Pluto is at home. Would be interesting to see what will happen when Pluto enters Aries. ------------------Sun in VirgoMoon in ScorpioVenus in ScorpioJupiter in ScorpioPluto in ScorpioMC in ScorpioNN in ScorpioASC in CapricornBeautiful_LightHow do you find the dominant sign in the delineation?frankie2912It is broken down in percentages. SeleniteMine are Jupiter, Sun, Mars, Pluto.Sag (21.1%), Scorpio, Aries, and Cancer!Fire (39%), Water (31%), Earth (19.3%), Air (9.4%).Pretty much expected to be mostly Sag, but I have no planets in Cancer. Must be the 4th house stellium and all the aspects to my moon.. And I have Venus / Pluto / NN / IC in Scorpio moongazeI honestly think it makes a difference. I notice that some people exude the energy of their dominants, and it does work in my case as well.My chart is mainly Water with some Earth. I am a Fire Void and only have one planet in Air, which is my third most dominant sign. It is Aquarius, but it is a Singleton in the 11th house in Saturn and it only has one major aspect. I'm assuming it is rather high up in rank because I have a lot of Capricorn in my chart and the planet that rules Capricorn is Saturn. It is also in its traditional placement in ancient astrology and Singletons are know for being rather dynamic at times due to a tendency for overcompensation, so I'm assuming that could be why it's rather high. I also feel pretty Aquarian as I am eccentric and offbeat myself, so I can definitely see it despite my top two dominant signs being the more conservative signs, Cancer and Capricorn, and I have the most planets in those signs too.Kannon McAfee quote:Originally posted by frankie2912:I met someone who is almost void of water.
